Masked Man Robs New Bedford Convenience Store

New Bedford Police say the Lucky 7 Mini Mart on Cottage Street was robbed over the weekend.

Detective. Lt. John Chaves said a masked man walked into the store just before closing time Sunday night, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cash. The suspect fled south on Cottage Street with an undetermined amount of money.

He's described as a hispanic man, wearing a grey hoodie, black pants, and white sneakers.

The clerk told police the man was hanging around outside of the store before he put a mask on and robbed the Lucky 7.
