Mariano Rivera Passes Physical, Back For One More Year With Yankees
Mariano Rivera has passed a physical for the New York Yankees, and is coming back for one year, and $10 million.
Yankee great, and the all time save leader, Mariano Rivera is going to be back for the 2013 baseball season. Rivera tore his ACL back in May, and didn't get a chance to finish what was going to be his final season.
This could be a good move for the Yankees, who aren't expected to bring back Rafael Soriano, as he is seeking a long term contract.
