Male Injured Following Second Story Fall In Marion

A male sustained serious injuries after falling from a balcony in Marion Thursday night.

Marion Police Chief Lincoln Miller says that at around 6:20 p.m. emergency personell responded to an address on Front St.

Miller says the male fell from an outdoor second story balcony while attempting to move furniture.

The victim was transferred to Silvershell Beach then tranported by Med Flight to Rhode Island Hospital.

The victim's name and current medical condition hasn't been released.
