People travel thousands of miles to catch a glimps of the celestial dancing lights of the Aurora Borealis, and yet, over the weekend, the brilliant "Northern Lights" were seen from the summit of Mt. Washington, in New Hampshire, with vivid color!

We are lucky here because this auroral activity follows an 11 year cycle, and 2013 is the next peak! These majestic lights are actually collisions between electrically charged particles from the sun that enter our atmosphere. Some aboriginal peoples believed that these lights were the spirits of their people, looking down. What a beautiful thought for an out-of-this-world vision!
