Even though the weather forecast for the Presidential Inauguration in Washington is calling for spring like temperatures in the mid 50's, New England Fleece, a Fall River company will be manufacturing about 2,000 warm, micro fleece blankets, emblazoned with the official presidential seal and the date.

All the guests and dignitaries will take home a little bit of Fall River with this commemorative blanket that was developed for mountain climbers and frigid temperatures. The micro fleece blanket has become a popular mainstream item that not only keeps you warm but also repels moisture.

New England Fleece, in the Durfee Union Mills complex, started in 1996 and was asked to make the blankets for the Obama Committee and now the tradition continues for the Trump Presidency.
