Local Jazz Singer Says Brubeck Was A Legend

Renowned jazz pianist Dave Brubeck is dead at the age of 91.  He was the composer of many jazz standards, and is well known for classics like "Take Five."  Officials at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center says Brubeck appeared at the "Z" at least twice, but his last appearance was more than a decade ago.  Dori Legge' is the Zeiterion theatre manager and a local jazz singer.  She calls Brubeck, one of the legends......

 Brubeck's longtime manager and producer Russell Gloyd says the pianist and composer died of heart failure while on his way to "a regular treatment with his cardiologist" at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, Connecticut.  His death came just one day before his 92nd birthday.
