Local Bank Delivers $40,000 To Non-Profits

Bristol County Savings Bank is again coming to the assistance of non-profit organizations on the Southcoast.

A ceremony was held Thursday at the bank's Ashley Boulevard branch, where bank President Patrick Murray handed out a total of $40,000 to seven area non-profits.

New Bedford Festival Theatre received $5,000 to run its Summer Acadamy program. Organizer Armand Marchand says more than 30 youngsters will take part....

Other recipients included the Schwartz Center for Children, Nativity Prep, and Horizons for Homeless Children.
