It's very likely that the 10 year sellout streak that the Boston Red Sox have going is going to come to an end early in the 2013 season.

The 2012 season was awful for the Red Sox, and the fans were left disappointed. The result: less fans heading out to games, and that means that the Sox won't be selling out games like they used to. So what is their answer?

They are offering kids under 14-years-old free Fenway franks, goldfish crackers and juice boxes during the month of April - and only before the third inning. So is this just a way from them to keep the streak going with what seems like a plan that a minor league baseball team would lay out to fill seats earl in the season?

Sox beat writer for the Boston Globe, Pete Abraham tweeted that he believes it to be a plan to lure fans to the seats.
