A Florida jury is awarding 115-million-dollars to wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan after part of a sex tape was posted online.

Hogan sued Gawker.com after a clip of the tape was published back in 2012. Hogan said he didn't know he was being filmed when he had sex with his best friend's wife back in 2006.

He said his reputation was hurt and he was humiliated by the publication of the video.

Legal experts say the case will have far-reaching implications of what stories the press can pursue on the grounds of "newsworthiness."

Gawker has maintained that posting the video is protected by the First Amendment.  (Metro Networks Inc)
