The man who murdered music legend, John Lennon, was once again denied parole after being in jail for over 30 years.

In 1980, Mark David Chapman took the life of an icon. John Lennon was murdered in cold blood outside of the Dakota Hotel in New York City. For the seventh time, Chapman was denied parole. He's 57 years old.

Chapman was sentenced to 20 years to life in 1981, and had been serving in Attica. He was recently transferred to Wende maximum security prison in May 2012.
