Jay Leno Announces He’s Stepping Down, Jimmy Fallon Taking Over ‘Tonight Show’

We have heard the rumors for a few weeks now that Jimmy Fallon will be taking over the Tonight Show from Jay Leno, today NBC made it official.  Leno has been hosting the show for over 20 years, he took over for Johnny Carson and will turn the reigns over to Fallon in 2014.

Jay said to Jimmy, “if you need me, I’ll be at the garage”, Leno goes out with number one ratings, continually beating the other late night talk shows.  Jimmy Fallon is happy to be hosting a show that starts today instead of tomorrow!  Read the full story here.
