Major Responsibilities: Demonstrates an ability to design and install an integrated marine electronic systems. Exhibits the ability and knowledge to solve most marine electronic issues on board with effective and efficient trouble shooting techniques. Demonstrate professional customer service skills. Ability to provide proper documentation. Maintaining accurate records of time spent performing the services requested by the customer and expenses incurred on the job.
Requirements: Possess a demonstrated ability and knowledge of the principals of electricity.
Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards and time schedules applicable to this position. Possess sufficient technical skills to work independently or as a member of a team of installers. Should own the proper basic tools. Ability to work from drawings and technical manuals.
Must have valid driver's license and the ability to travel to the customer's job site. Frequent overtime may be required during peak seasons.
Education and Experience: Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
NMEA and ABYC certification or willing to obtain.
USCG Captains License preferred or willing to obtain
