Holiday Fire Safety Tips [TOWNSQUARE SUNDAY]

Christmas is the time for great joy and celebration, but homeowners must still be watchful about lighting and over-loaded receptacles. It seems that every year in December a fire takes place that can be blamed on carelessness or neglect.

In an encore broadcast, New Bedford District Fire Chief Scott Kruger and Fire Prevention head Shawn Sivil join Jim Phillips to point out some potential holiday hazards in the home that if left unattended could turn your Christmas into a winter nightmare.
