Sheriffs and law enforcement officials from across the country are descending upon the Texas/Mexico border Tuesday, hoping to shed more light on the immigration crisis.

Immigration officials have admitted flying planeloads of illegal immigrants to states including Massachusetts because of an increase in border crossing that has filled up detainment and processing centers in Texas.

Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson is organizing the trip which he hopes will send a clear message to President Obama, Congress, and the Senate.

Hodgson says he's currently housing nearly 100 illegal adults awaiting deportation at the Bristol County House of Correction.

Reports say as many as 50,000 children are making their way across the border as well, looking for sponsors in order to integrate into the United States.
