Mass. Attorney General Maura Healey says her office plans to address domestic and dating violence with a program called "Game Changer" funded by the New England Patriots.

Speaking at UMass Dartmouth on Thursday, Healey says thanks to a $500,000 donation from Patriots owner Robert Kraft, her office will be raising awareness about relationships, especially among teens.

"We're going to be in schools talking to young people about these issues, teaching them about model behavior. We'll be supporting domestic violence agencies that are out there doing the work. This is about shifting the culture and saying, you know what, certain things are unacceptable and we've got to change that," said Healey.

The Attorney General spoke at the 8th annual Leadership Bbreakfast of the Women's Fund of Southeastern Massachusetts.

Healey said her office is working with state lawmakers on a bill to promote wage equality for men and women in Massachusetts.

Healey says women are generally making less in Southeastern Mass. than their male counterparts, and that's hurting families in the region.
