Gas Prices Fall Another 3-Cents Per Gallon
The price of a gallon of gasoline in Massachusetts has fallen another 3 cents in the past week, and is now down 22 cents in the past seven weeks.
AAA Northeast announced Monday that self-serve, regular is selling for an average of $1.83 per gallon, a penny above the national average.
That price is 24 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
The lowest crude oil prices in 13 years, strong supplies and lesser demand in the winter are all contributing to the low prices.
AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $1.66 per gallon in Massachusetts and as high as $2.39. (Associated Press)
