The two Massachusetts children who died after becoming trapped inside a hope chest in their Franklin home are being laid to rest.

A funeral Mass for 8-year-old Lexi Jane Munroe and 7-year-old Sean Allan Monroe II is scheduled for Monday at St. Mary's Church in town.

Calling hours are Sunday at the Ginley Funeral Home.

The obituary says Lexi loved to dance and sing and play with her doll, Julia.

Sean loved to play with his Lego Star Wars, top go fishing and to eat Fluff.

They were survived by their parents and three sisters.

Authorities say the pair became trapped Sunday in a chest that had been recalled because it could only be opened from outside. The deaths have been ruled accidental.
