Today, August 5, 2015, the New England Patriots enshrine another key member of their early 2000's dynasty into the team's Hall of Fame.

3-time Super Bowl Champion Willie McGinest, who played in multiple spots for a dominate New England defense at the turn of the century, will be honored by the team in a ceremony at Patriots Place tonight.

McGinest, who spent 12 of his 15 NFL seasons with the Patriots, was a key member of a number of head coach Bill Belichick's vaunted defenses, throughout his run in New England.

The 6-5 defensive end/linebacker totaled 86 career sacks, 78 of which came as a member of the Patriots. More impressive though, are the record 16 playoff sacks the 2-time Pro Bowler was responsible for, over the course of his time in New England.

Though McGinest finished out the final three years of his career with the Cleveland Browns, he has and will always be revered for his contributions to some of the most dominant teams the NFL has ever seen.

Along with his induction into the Patriots' Hall of Fame, McGinest has been honored as a 2-time member of the organization's all-decade teams for his contributions throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.
