The Mass. Division of Marine Fisheries is getting ready to distribute groundfish disaster relief funds to fishermen who need help.

The Federal Government has sent more than $14-million to Massachusetts to assist fishermen being hurt by new regulations and declining fish stocks. If you think you qualify, there's a process to follow.

The program is seeking crew members and vessel owners who may qualify. In New Bedford, fishermen must contact the Fishing Partnership Support Services to fill out forms, containing their ground fishing history from 2010 to 2013.

To learn more, you can call the Fishing Partnership Navigators at 508 991-3043 or visit their office at 114 MacArthur Drive.
