Hundreds of people each year take part in the Walk MS Fundraiser in Dartmouth. It's one of a series of walks around the country that raise money for research to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. Last year, the walks raised more than $38 million for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Deb Threlfall and her family and friends put on the biggest fundraiser on the SouthCoast. She formed "Team Ted" in 2015 in honor of her husband Ted, who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis, a debilitating neurological and autoimmune disease. Over the past four years, Team Ted has raised tens of thousands of dollars to help find a cure for MS.

Deb Threlfall and Marissa Kirshenbaum, Development Specialist with the New England Chapter of the National MS Society, visit Townsquare Sunday this week to discuss the April 26 walk in Dartmouth, and another fundraiser coming up February 21 at the Century House in Acushnet.

Tickets for the Feb.21st Mardi Gras Night fundraiser can be purchased by calling (774) 263-5195, or visiting Eventbrite, https://www.eventbrite.com/e/masked-or-unmasked-tickets-89491628871.
