Massachusetts State police say one person has died in a fiery crash on the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge that shut down all northbound lanes of Interstate 93 and caused a huge traffic tie-up in Boston.

The crash involving a car and a tractor-trailer just after 5:30 a.m. Monday sent flames and black smoke into the sky during the morning commute.

Boston fire officials said the truck was carrying produce.

One southbound lane and the ramp from the Sumner Tunnel to the bridge were also shut down.

There was no word on a cause.
