A new place in Fall River has the golfing community abuzz.

Seven Hills Indoor Country Club is gearing up for its grand opening Saturday, March 2, 2024, 1 to 4 p.m.

Located at 1040 North Main St., this new indoor golf simulator could be a game-changer for golfers in the region.

The brainchild of passionate golfer Louie Sisca IV, "The SHICC" as it's also known is the culmination of years of golfing experience and a desire to create a haven for golf enthusiasts, regardless of New England weather conditions.

"I've been golfing a lot over the last few years," Sisca said. "I thought to myself, with the New England conditions, this would be a great idea to have something indoors. You eventually get to a sports-transitioning age, and this is what I'm currently into."

The grand opening promises to be an event to remember, with contests, refreshments and a "closest to the pin" contest for a giveaway of a complimentary tee time. Attendees can also experience the facilities firsthand, with a chance to take some swings and get acquainted.

Scheduling at The SHICC is convenient, with bookings available online for $50 per hour. Groups of up to four people can book private sessions or parties, with a minimum booking duration of four hours. For those interested in hosting events or parties, The SHICC offers party packages that include food from local favorites such as Scottie's and Avo's Feast.

In addition to private bookings, The SHICC plans to host contests and eventually establish leagues for more competitive play.
