FALL RIVER (WBSM) — A pedestrian involved in a Fall River collision with a vehicle was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday.

Authorities responded to the intersection of Robeson Street and President Avenue at approximately 9 a.m. regarding an accident involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian.

Upon arrival, investigators determined that a Honda Accord had been facing north when it stopped at a traffic signal. The vehicle then proceeded to turn left after the light turned green.

A pedestrian, however, was walking on the crosswalk onto Robeson Street as the Honda turned. The Honda then allegedly struck the crosswalk pedestrian as they turned left (west) onto President Avenue.
