Boston Mayor Tom Menino says the city's Fourth of July celebration will go off as planned despite the Boston Marathon bombings. 

He said more temporary surveillance cameras will be brought in as a precaution.  The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular on the Esplanade celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.

Given the events of the Boston marathon, it's not shocking that the city would want to beef up security for a city that is still on edge. Despite the marathon bombers being caught, people will still need to feel safe.
