Ex-Teammates Revis, Tebow Adjusting To New Cities
A year ago, Darrelle Revis and Tim Tebow were teammates with the New York Jets, Revis vying to live up to his billing as the best cornerback in the NFL, and Tebow just trying to prove he can play quarterback in the league.
A lot has changed since.
Revis and Tebow are both adapting to life with different teams, but share the same mindset of competing in the face of adversity.
Revis, who had 19 interceptions in six seasons with New York before being traded to Tampa Bay and signing a six-year, $96 million contract extension, has practiced lightly in his return to the field after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in Week 3 last year and missing the rest of the season.
Acquired by New England in June, Tebow is simply trying to make the 53-man roster as the third-string quarterback.
