Jurors in the trial of James "Whitey" Bulger are expected to hear from Bulger's former righthand man.

Kevin Weeks, Bulger's longtime friend, is expected to testify Monday.

Weeks was Bulger's top henchman for years. He later became a government witness and eventually led authorities to the bodies of people who were allegedly killed by Bulger and his gang.

Weeks has testified previously that he was present for several killings committed by Bulger and other gang members.

The 83-year-old Bulger is accused of playing a role in 19 killings. He has pleaded not guilty.

Prosecutors say Bulger was a longtime FBI informant on the rival New England Mafia while he was committing a litany of crimes as the leader of the Winter Hill Gang. His lawyers say he was never an informant.
