The summit focuses on "Organizing Safe Riding Groups" and strives to bring awareness to cycling options for all ages. Erin Reed of "Safe Routes to School" is the keynote speakers. MA SRTS program promotes healthy alternatives for children and parents to and from school. Guest panelists for young riding groups include Trips for Kids New Bedford, Cycle Kids and Britland Park Dirt and Pump Track. "Casual riding Groups" for adults will include panelists from Bay Area Senior Cyclists, Top of the Hill Gang, Fall River Bicycle Committee and Narragansett Bay Wheelmen. Attendees are encouraged to visit vendor tables from various healthy activity organizations starting at 5:30 PM, program begins at 6 PM. A social hour will follow the program at 7:30 PM.
