Dow Sets New Record High

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is at another all-time high and past another milestone.  The Dow closed above the 16-thousand mark for the first time. 

Pete Najarian of optionmonster.com says it was hard to believe the Dow could reach that number.

Financial shares rose amid speculation that the market would be able to handle a withdrawal of Federal Reserve stimulus measures. 

The Dow is up 109 points to 16-010.  The Nasdaq gained 48 points to 39-69.  The S&P 500 climbed 14 points to 17-96. (Metro Networks Inc.)
