Dog Attack Causes Child to Receive Over 400 Stitches

A Mansfield, Massachusetts 6 year-old boy was bitten all over his body by Milo, a pointer-hound mix, that resulted in surgery and over 400 stitches to the child's face, thigh and ankle. An animal control officer has recommended that Milo be put down, but others hoped otherwise. The Mansfield Select Board voted Wednesday evening to put the dog down.
