Westport Man Connected to Dartmouth Robbery

Dartmouth Police arrest 2 Westport men in connection with an early morning break in Tuesday at Hot Bodeez Tanning Salon on State Road.

Police were alerted to the break  by a burglar alarm and as they arrived on the scene they found the first suspect, 27 year old Josh Pontes, covered in fresh drywall dust behind the building and arrested him.  Shortly afterwards they found the second suspect, 47 year old Anthony Cabral, inside the building and after a brief struggle he was arrested as well.

Police discovered the men were trying to enter the business by cutting through drywall trying to gain access to a safe in the office. Both faced numerous burglary and robbery charges in district court.
