DARTMOUTH — Dartmouth Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in a shoplifting incident at Dick's Sporting Goods on Monday.

In a characteristically tongue-in-cheek Facebook post, police said they are looking for the "aspiring marathon runner" in the surveillance image who took a pair of sneakers out of the store yesterday.

Describing him as "fleet of foot, but slow to pay," police asked any members of the public who recognize the man to "Just Do It" and call Detective Kyle Costa or send a message to the department.
