Dartmouth Celebrates Incorporation, Land Sale Sunday
The Town of Dartmouth continues the celebration of it’s 350th year in existence Sunday.
One of the premier events of the celebration, the incorporation and land sale re-enactment, will be played out before the town at Apponagansett park Sunday afternoon. Organizer Dr. Cynthia Marland says the re-enactment will be largely performed by middle school students.
After the re-enactment, there will be birthday cake for everybody.
Live music, the judging of the Brothers of the Bush beard contest, and a fireworks display are all part of Sunday evening’s celebration.
The fun starts at 4pm at Apponagansett park.
