Crash In Dartmouth Leaves One Dead [UPDATE]

An early morning crash in Dartmouth on rt. 195 west has proven fatal.

Update 2:56pm - Still no name released by the police, but it was learned that the victim was a 23-year-old woman from Fall River. The cause of the fatal crash is still unknown, and police are still investigating it.

Two lanes and the breakdown lane were closed for around three hours on Wednesday, but have since been reopened.

Update 4:25pm - The 23-year-old woman's name has been revealed. She is Kayla Botelho. The cause of the crash is still unknown.

According to ABC 6, one person has been killed as a result of a roll over crash on Wednesday morning.

The highway on 195 in Dartmouth was backed up for miles after the events, and eventually they closed the westbound ramp. State police confirmed the fatality, and added that they will be on the scene for an undetermined amount of time. The accident is under investigation. The driver has not been identified.
