Citizens For Safety, Community Groups, Join Discussion On Guns
A Massachusetts woman is leading a campaign to shed more light on who supplies guns for people committing violent crimes.
Nancy Robinson heads up Citizens for Safety. She was in New Bedford on Friday, taking part in a community discussion on “Where Do The Guns Come From.”
Robinson says she doubts there’s enough votes in Congress this year to support a ban on assault weapons, but she tells WBSM News, there is support for a national background check system…..

The community discussion was attended by about 25 people including District Attorney Sam Sutter and City Councilor Brian Gomes.
