Chrysler Sales Jump 17%

Chrysler sold a lot of cars, trucks, and minivans last month.  The car company announced this morning that sales jumped 17-percent in May.  That beats analysts' forecast for the number three U.S. automaker.

Chrysler is the first manufacturer to release its U.S. sales figures for May.

General Motors, Ford and foreign automakers will announce their numbers later.
