Another Democrat is seeking the presidential nomination.

Former Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee has announced his bid in a speech at George Mason University in Virginia.

Chafee was the only Republican in the Senate to vote against the war in Iraq in 2002.

He left the Republican party in 2007 to become an Independent and joined the Democratic party in 2013.

In his speech yesterday, Chafee talked about his vote against the Iraq war. He said he didn't see evidence of weapons of mass destruction that would justify military action.

He said the U.S. should follow the Geneva Conventions and refrain from torturing people.

He also stated that the U.S. should switch to the metric system.
