2011 was hard for basketball, and Jeff Green. First there was the lockout, and then Green suffered an injury which left him sidelined. He's ready to return in 2012, but in a recent interview, he said that he had to stop watching basketball for a while.

It was very hard. I stopped watching basketball, not just the Celtics, for a month and a half. It was frustrating to me that I couldn't be out there playing.

Green's surgery made it very hard for him to walk, but now he is recovered and anxious to get back on the floor. He said that the injury made it hard to do a lot of things, and it made him appreciate the little stuff more.
