After going over a month without a loss, the Boston Celtics' impressive 16-game win streak has come to an end.

The C's fell to the Miami Heat 104-98, in Miami Wednesday night. While the loss has cut Boston's exciting run to an end, it must be noted how great a stretch the C's had been on.

After dropping the first two games of the season and losing key free agent addition Gordon Hayward in the first few minutes of their season opener, the Celts had rattled off 16 straight victories, including a win over the defending champion Golden State Warriors.

Boston showed great mental toughness over the stretch, as a number of their wins came in games in which they were trailing by double digits but battled back to knock off their opponent.

thought the loss marks the team's third of the season, they are still in great position in the conference and have given themselves quite the head start over their competitors in the East.
