BOSTON (AP) _ State police say a 50-year-old man died after his car plunged off Interstate 93 in Boston and struck another vehicle on the road below.

Troopers say the Chatham man was driving northbound on the highway shortly after 12:30 a.m. Sunday when his car went through a guardrail near exit 14, went airborne, rolled over and struck another vehicle traveling on Morrissey Boulevard.

The man's name hasn't been released yet.

A man and woman from Boston who were in the other vehicle were taken to a hospital. Police say their injuries were not life-threatening.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
