Brockton Woman Identified as the Body Found Outside East Bridgewater Yard

BROCKTON (WBSM) — A woman found dead outside an East Bridgewater yard has been identified.

On Sunday, authorities were dispatched to Belmont Street, where they found a deceased female face down on the grass.

The woman has been identified as Nicole Swan, 42, of Brockton.

Investigation is ongoing by Massachusetts State Police and the East Bridgewater Police Department.

The Plymouth County District Attorney's Office said that preliminary investigation suggests it was not a random act, and said there is no threat to public safety.

The state medical examiner will determine the manner and cause of death.
