New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was named the AFC's Offensive Player of the Month, Thursday, for his work throughout the month of October.

Playing in his first four games of the season, Brady led the Pats to a 4-0 October record. During the month, he also put up gaudy passing stats, completing just over 73% of his passes (98-134) for 1,319 and 12 scores. He also played mistake-free football over the four-game stretch, as he still has yet to turn the ball over this season.

This marks the ninth time the future Hall-of-Famer has been named the Offensive Player of the Month. It also marked the sixth time this season a Patriots player has been honored as a Player of the Week or Month, including when Brady was named Player of the Week for his efforts in the team's Week 5 win over the Cleveland Browns.
