Six people and one dog were injured following a two vehicle crash in Bourne Monday afternoon.

Bourne Police say that just after 2:30 p.m. officers responded to the intersection of St. Margaret’s St. and the Route 6 and 28 By-Pass for a crash involving a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2013 Hyundai Elantra.

The five people in the Chevrolet and the driver of the Hyundai were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A dog riding in the Hyundai was transported by Bourne Natural Resources to Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists in Buzzards Bay with serious injuries.
