After a three hour rain delay, and a serious wreck, David Regan was the winner at Talladega on Sunday.

The wreck was started by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and J.J. Yeley, and many other drivers got caught int he mix. Kurt Busch may have gotten the worst of it, with his car being sent airborne, then landing on top of Ryan Newman's car.

ESPN Reports that Newman, who has been involved in some pretty dangerous wrecks, was disappointed that NASCAR decided to finish the race so close to darkness. NASCAR has taken precautions to keep the drivers safer by adding restrictor-plates to the track at Talladega, but Newman had some choice words for officials, who felt aren't doing enough.

They can build safer race cars, they can build safer walls. But they can't get their heads out of their (expletive) far enough to keep them on the race track, and that's pretty disappointing. I wanted to make sure I get that point across. Y'all can figure out who 'they' is.

- Ryan Newman

The good news is that Busch wasn't injured in the wreck, and it seemed like everyone else was also fine. The wreck included Jeff Gordon and Danica Patrick.
