Basketball Tournament Attracts Crowd To Downtown New Bedford
The Greater New Bedford Summer Basketball Classic brought some life to Downtown New Bedford on Saturday.
The Classic is the brain-child of Eric Britto, a basketball referee and co-founder of Truebounce, Inc. of New Bedford. Two lined courts with Truebounce equipment were set up on Pleasant Street.

More than a dozen youth and adult teams took part in the tournament, with proceeds to be distributed to non profit agencies like the Boys and Girls Club and Dennison Memorial.
