BARNSTABLE (WBSM) — A police pursuit in Hyannis led to the arrest of two Brewster men and charges for multiple firearm offenses.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. on November 11, Hyannis officers conducted a motor vehicle stop of a black Hyundai.

During the motor vehicle stop, Tremaine Dillion, 22, and Kahleed Lewis, 22, allegedly attempted to flee the scene on foot. After a brief foot pursuit, both subjects were taken into custody in a nearby neighborhood.

At the time of the arrest, a loaded 9mm pistol equipped with a mounted light and laser sight was allegedly located in the vehicle.

Dillion and Lewis were transported to the Barnstable Police Department, where they were charged with firearm offenses.

According to police, the charges include carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of a large capacity feeding device, possession of ammunition without an FID card, disorderly conduct, and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Additionally, Dillion was also charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Dillion and Lewis were held on $10,000 cash bail and arraigned in Barnstable District Court on Monday, November 13.
