A new NBC/Marist poll found that a majority of Americans disapprove of the way the NFL has handled the issue of domestic violence, which blew up with the recent release of the video showing Ray Rice knocking his now-wife unconscious in an elevator earlier this year. But it also found that they're not letting it stop them from watching the games.

In the poll, 53 percent of Americans, and an even higher 57 percent of football fans, said the NFL has mishandled the issue. But nearly 90 percent of NFL fans said the domestic abuse scandals haven't changed how much football they watch. And despite the fact that some people are calling for Commissioner Roger Goodell to step down, just 29 percent said they think he should be forced to resign.
