Quarters For Christmas will be held this Saturday at the Dartmouth Mall.

Proceeds from the event will go towards Rise Up for Homes and their efforts to establish establish emergency overflow and day shelters for extreme weather conditions.

This is an issue that's very important to both The Rev. David Lima, Executive Minister of the Inter-Church Council of Greater New Bedford, and Peter Muise, President and CEO of First Citizens' Federal Credit Union.

The two men recently visited the Phil Paleologos Show to talk about Quarters For Christmas and the need to help the homeless in our area.

Those who wish to contribute can donate in one of three ways:

1. Visit the Dartmouth Mall on Saturday, December 5th between 1- 5pm and donate any amount of money at our WBSM Quarters for Christmas Booth. Checks will also be accepted and can be made out to Rise Up For Homes
