Winter Date Ideas
Believe it or not, winter is here as of Sunday, December 21st! Before you head out for date night with your significant other, make sure you take a look at this list for some inspiration. Some of these should be done before Christmas, but you still have a few days to fit them in. Have fun and stay warm!

If both of you know how, take it to the rink and show off your skills. If only one of you knows how, this is a great opportunity to learn and bond. If neither of you knows how to skate, then I suggest you attach some extra padding to your buttocks before stepping on the ice. Share the laughs and memories together!

Who doesn’t like taking an hour to slide down a snowy hill with loved ones? What makes this idea so fun is that you can do it with other friends, or just the two of you and still have a blast!

Do You Want to Build a Snowman?
Get in touch with your inner child and PLAY! I used to build snow thrones, pretend I was a princess and the snow men were my subjects. I loved making snow angels too. It’s important to be silly with your significant other every once in a while. Snow has a way of bringing that out in people ;)
(PS - I apologize in advanced if this song gets stuck in your head now)

After your wintry day of play, get nice and cozy with some hot chocolate and sip by the fireplace if you have one.

Open 7-Days a Week From: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
See the beautiful light displays and climb the Holy Steps on your knees, with a prayer at each step! Greg surprised me with this date last Friday, and we loved walking through the site with warm hot cocoa! It’s open until Little Christmas, so you still have time to enjoy the decorative atmosphere.

This is open until January 4, so you can check it out if you haven’t yet! This is a true New England tradition. Sure, it might be geared more towards children, but it’s still nice to see the displays. And they have an indoor ice skating rink, so you can even kill two birds with one stone! http://www.jordans.com/attractions/enchanted-village

Sometimes it’s something as simple as taking a drive through your town to see the beautiful decorations in your neighborhood. Take advantage of the unbelievable gas prices to cruise through a festival of lights. (PS - It wouldn’t hurt to play some Christmas tunes in the car as you’re driving. Get in the holiday spirit!)

Gingerbread Houses
This could be another fun one to do with other people. You could build against each other, or against another couple. The best / most creative house wins. (Think jack-o-lantern contest part 2).
This guy's house is professional grade. You might want to get the kit.
