Where Should We Take Our SouthCoast Engagement Photos?
My fiancé and I have been engaged for almost a year. We are scheduling a photo shoot for this August and aren't entirely sure where to go. Our photographers are from Johnston, Rhode Island, so we don't want to make them travel too far. I'm sure we can find plenty of local spots to consider. *Disclaimer - we will practice safe social distancing due to COVID-19.
Greg proposed to me at Round Hill Beach in Dartmouth. It's one of my favorite spots in the entire world. He was able to coordinate a couple of friends to show up at the beach and hide in the tall grass ahead of time, so we now have this amazing moment captured on camera. While Round Hill is a beautiful location, I kind of like the idea of just keeping it as the spot where Greg asked me to spend the rest of his life with him and having these candid shots to remember that occasion. We can take our engagement photos elsewhere and it will still be special.
So now I need help deciding where we'll be ready for our closeup. I am leaning toward having our engagement photos taken in Padanaram Village. It's quaint, charming, and overlooks the water. I think it will be fun to get a few shots at Apponagansett or on the bridge, but I'm not entirely sold on it.
I'm definitely open to suggestions. Where did you and your spouse have your pictures taken?
