Weird Celeb Contract Demands

Chatting recently with some friends familiar with the acts that booked New Bedford's Zeiterion Theater, they told me some of the craziest things entertainers insist on in their rooms before or after the show. Want the inside scoop on some of the celeb's demands when they play for you? Take a peak at the contract rider for some of the best known entertainers, where you'll find requests for everything from clean socks and underwear to pot, pork rinds, prune juice, hip gay magazines and red toilet paper. Part of their backstage demands, that promoters must provide, will give you an inside look at their quirks. For instance:

Lady Gaga, on her "Monster Ball" tour insisted on a mannequin with puffy pink pubic hair.

Rolling Stones demand a backstage room for their snooker table.

Michael Buble, from Canada, asks for local team hockey pucks in his dressing room.

Motley Crue - most of its members are recovering alcoholics, so they want a schedule of local AA meetings. (I'm a friend of "Bill W" myself)

Reo Speedwagon are apparently not partying as hard as they did back in the 80's, as their requests include Honey Maid Graham Crackers!

Paul McCartney is such a vegan, he refuses to ride in a limo with leather seats.

By the way, their entertainment fee doesn’t include the cost of items appearing on the band’s backstage rider!
